1. Lumen Atlas is not a law firm.
Lumen Atlas provides consulting, legal-operations design, AI workflow design, training, product strategy, and operational support. Lumen Atlas is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice, legal representation, or legal determinations. Our services, materials, workflows, AI configurations, and outputs do not create an attorney-client relationship and are not a substitute for advice from your chosen licensed counsel.
2. Legal judgment remains with you and your counsel.
You remain responsible for business decisions, legal decisions, regulatory obligations, and the engagement of counsel. Where a workflow touches legal judgment, rights, obligations, or strategy, qualified counsel must independently review and approve the work. Lumen Atlas does not act as your lawyer, direct legal strategy, or hold itself out as providing attorney-reviewed work product.
3. AI and operational tools have limits.
AI systems can produce inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated outputs. Any output must be independently evaluated before reliance. Do not treat a workflow, automation, or AI output as legal advice or as a replacement for professional judgment. Follow applicable confidentiality, privacy, security, and data-governance obligations when using any tool or service.
4. Referral Program Terms
Qualified Referral. A Qualified Referral is a new prospective customer submitted through the Lumen Atlas Referral Program and confirmed by Lumen Atlas before an engagement begins. A contact already in Lumen Atlas’s active pipeline is not eligible. A new project for an existing Lumen Atlas client may be eligible only under a separately agreed written percentage.
Referral Fee. Subject to these terms, Lumen Atlas will pay the approved referrer a Referral Fee equal to 15% of fees Lumen Atlas actually collects from a Qualified Referral, excluding taxes. Lumen Atlas bears its own engagement expenses; the Referral Fee is not reduced for those expenses.
Payment timing and window. Referral Fees are calculated on a rolling basis and are due 45 days after Lumen Atlas collects the applicable fees. There is no monetary cap. The only program time boundary is one year from the project start: qualifying collections received on or before the first anniversary of that date are eligible, and later collections are not unless Lumen Atlas agrees otherwise in writing.
Confirmation and recordkeeping. Lumen Atlas will confirm whether a submitted prospect is new and qualified. Lumen Atlas will maintain a collection record and, on request, provide an attestation of collected fees used to calculate the Referral Fee. Payments are made from Lumen Atlas’s Mercury business accounts after the applicable fee is due and the referrer’s payment information is complete.
Referrer responsibility. By joining or submitting a referral, you represent that making the referral and accepting the Referral Fee are permitted by all applicable laws, regulations, professional duties, employment policies, contractual obligations, fiduciary duties, and role-based restrictions that apply to you. If you publicly promote or endorse Lumen Atlas, you must clearly disclose your referral relationship and potential compensation wherever the promotion appears.
Tax and payment information. Before payment, Lumen Atlas may require information reasonably necessary to make the payment and meet applicable reporting obligations. You are responsible for your own tax obligations. Lumen Atlas may withhold or decline payment where it reasonably concludes payment would be unlawful.
