Cookies and browser storage

This notice describes the limited cookies and similar storage technologies used on lumenatlas.com.

Effective date: August 10, 2026.

1. Current approach

Lumen Atlas and lumenatlas.com are operated by OrchestrateIQ, LLC. Lumen Atlas does not currently use advertising or analytics cookies, advertising pixels, cross-site tracking, or session replay. The site uses only limited first-party preference storage and strictly necessary security technology.

2. Storage currently used

  • Theme preference — functional localStorage. When a visitor selects light or dark mode on a page using the shared theme, the site stores lumen-theme in the visitor’s browser. It contains only the selected display preference and remains until changed or cleared.
  • Cloudflare security and delivery — strictly necessary. Cloudflare may use cookies or similar signals to deliver the site, protect it from malicious traffic, and maintain security. These technologies are used only when needed for the requested service or security.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile — strictly necessary on Referral Program forms. Turnstile processes browser, device, network, and interaction signals to distinguish legitimate submissions from abuse. Depending on Cloudflare’s security flow, Turnstile may use cookies or similar browser storage. The forms do not use Turnstile for advertising or analytics.

3. Why no consent banner appears today

A consent banner is not currently active because Lumen Atlas has no non-essential analytics, advertising, or marketing tools to offer as optional categories. Activating a consent manager by itself would create an additional consent-preference cookie without controlling any non-essential tool.

Cloudflare offers a consent manager through Zaraz. If Lumen Atlas later adds a non-essential analytics, advertising, chat, or marketing tool, we will update this notice and configure consent controls before that tool stores or reads non-essential data where prior consent is required.

4. Browser controls

You can clear or block cookies and localStorage through your browser settings. Clearing lumen-theme only resets the saved display preference. Blocking security technologies may prevent a Referral Program form from being submitted.
